Abigail Russo
Instructional Innovation and Design Manager
Abigail Russo serves as WorldBeing’s Instructional Innovation and Design Manager. In this role, she oversees and manages all curricula and training materials for WorldBeing’s programs in India, Kenya, and Rwanda in collaboration with local directors and managers.
Abigail’s passion for supporting students and educators grew while working at Mumbai Mobile Creches, a non-profit organization in Mumbai, India that serves children of migrant workers. Since then, she has managed a diverse suite of global health and professional development projects alongside academic, non-profit, government, corporate, and grassroots leaders around the world. At Boston Children’s Hospital, she managed a maternal and newborn health research program in Ethiopia, studying the clinical and social factors that support newborn health.
She also developed an innovative online professional development curriculum at the Boston University School of Medicine to help junior researchers leverage their research to impact public health policy. Most recently, she worked as a learning consultant to propose and design innovative educational solutions to help clients train safe and competent employees.
Abigail has a master’s degree in International Education Policy from Harvard University and a B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis.
