Brigid Fister

Program Associate

Brigid Fister serves as WorldBeing’s Program Associate. In her role, she supports program strategy, implementation, and research. She also maintains knowledge management, and writes grant proposals and reports. 

Brigid’s desire to work in education and youth wellbeing was solidified during her time as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Dhading, Nepal. In addition to classroom teaching, Brigid created an after-school program in her village focused on art, conversational English, and discussions of mental health and gender equality. She was also able to facilitate teacher trainings and professional development sessions for Nepali public school teachers.

Brigid holds a Master's Degree from Harvard University in Education Policy and Analysis with a concentration in Global, International, and Comparative Education. During her time at Harvard she was able to work on consulting projects focused on qualitative research and program design for domestic and international clients. Brigid also studied at Bard College where she graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor's Degree in Writing.
