Hari Shanker

Hari Shanker serves as State Program Manager, Bihar, supervising all aspects of the programs, including implementation, evaluation, and scale-up. He has more than 10 years of professional experience in development and management of programs and monitoring and evaluation in the fields of Public Health, Disaster Risk Reduction and Humanitarian Assistance.

Hari began his career with DKT India, working within their Social Marketing and Social Franchising Program on family planning in Bihar, one of the most under-developed states in India. He also served with Project Concern International in Disaster Risk Reduction and Humanitarian Assistance programs in one of the worst flood-affected areas of India. Prior to joining WorldBeing India in 2013, Hari served at Pragya where he worked on maternal and child health issues in the Himalayan region to reduce infant and maternal mortality rates.
