Lauren Guthrie
Lauren Guthrie is the Chief Talent and Belonging Officer at VF Corporation.
Lauren is responsible for developing and operationalizing the strategic framework, guardrails and programs that drive VF’s commitment to people and culture. She is passionate about enabling rich and rewarding careers through VF’s talent management ecosystem, and fostering a lifelong commitment to learning through development and learning. She works closely with VF leadership to embed IDEA principles into talent acquisition, management and advancement practices to elevate our associate experience and build a culture anchored in allyship, advocacy and belonging. She also partners closely with business leaders to amplify social impact initiatives in direct support of the diverse consumers and communities served by the VF portfolio of brands.
Lauren also chairs VF’s Council to Advance Racial Equity, a governing body that has defined VF’s broad commitment to racial equity and justice by focusing on opportunities to advance education, economic equity and environmental justice for Black and Brown communities.
Prior to joining VF, Lauren has held progressive merchandising and general management roles with global brands such as Nike, Levi’s and Old Navy across a variety of businesses. She is a vibrant team leader and coach, who is passionate about developing powerful teams and fostering high integrity work environments where each player is celebrated for their unique contributions.
Lauren is an alumna of Columbia University where she majored in History and Psychology.
