Rajiv Ranjan Prasad
Rajiv Ranjan Prasad serves as Chief Advisor to WorldBeing India in Bihar, helping to facilitate the scale-up of its Youth First and Girls First | KGBV programs through the Education Department of Bihar, India.
Rajiv ji is a retired Class—I Officer of Bihar Education Services who served in several capacities for 32 years with Department of Education in Bihar. He has vast experience in Administration, Planning, and Practicing and Implementation education policy. His tenure of service in the field of Education has been well-recognized by Government of Bihar.
Rajiv ji’s career has been distinguished by his ability to give birth to innovative ideas in the field of school education. He envisioned periodic assessments as an integral part of quality education and achieving learning outcomes in Bihar. During his tenure with the Bihar Education Project Council, he worked to develop a diagnostic tool called ‘Mulyankan Hastak’, recognized as a milestone in the field of education across the state of Bihar and was awarded the prestigious Skoch Gold Award for his efforts.
Prior to joining Bihar Education Service, Rajiv ji served as Judicial Magistrate in Bihar. Rajiv ji holds a degree of Law from Patna University. He also has a Bachelor degree in Education.
During his service tenure, Rajiv ji received numerous trainings on leadership and management development from premier institutes of India such as Lal Bahadur Shastri National Administrative Academy Massoorie, Indian Institute Of Management, Lucknow, Chandragupta Institute of Management, Patna, National Institutes of Rural Development, Hyderabad, NCERT, and NEUPA.
